I don’t understand why society puts so much pressure on boys and girls to be perfect, high grades, straight white teeth, for girls to have long hair and to be skinny but not too skinny, and for boys to be muscly and to be tanned. In my opinion all body types are gorgeous and teenagers are already under a lot of pressure with school and much more personal problems. If you have sex young you’re a whore, if you wait until you’re older you’re frigid. Society doesn’t make sense.

Society contradicts itself as well, it tells girls to be skinny, like models, but this causes people to do drastic things under the pressure to be perfect like starving them selves, and making themselves sick, society looks down their noses at this too. People need to understand they are built the way they should be and that all shapes and sizes are lovely, as long as you stay healthy, that’s all that should matter. Society should care for the health of teenagers more than the way they look.

To anyone who is struggling with any problems, stress of school work, depression, anorexia, bulimia, or to anyone who just doesn’t think they are good enough, you are. Everyone is different, unique and everyone has something perfect about them. In someones eyes you are perfect to them, you are everything they ever wanted. Just remember with the billions of people in the world, you are not alone, not at all. I’m here for you and so are you’re family and friends. Things get better. Views of people will soon change, i love you, stay strong. We are the society of the future, so lets focus on decreasing the pressure to be the stereotypical perfect, because everyone is perfect in their own way. So everyone stay strong, stay beautiful, stay perfect.
